Not a big deal for some of you but here we've been warmer than usual.
It hasn't felt or looked like Fall very much. Finally, a cold front blew in and Sunday morning we woke up to a chilly 32 degrees and frost on the ground!
The sun glittered off the frost before melting it away.
It was quite beautiful.
But I still managed to find a few colorful leaves-
As we walked around the farm, I reflected on how much I had to be thankful for - and my heart overflowed.

I'll have several new things in the shop on Friday. I hope you'll come back and check it out.
Also, next week I'll be sharing the kitchen reveal and then the following week, I'm joining several talented ladies for the Cozy at Christmas blog tour.
See you then!
We didn't get a frost. I'm just so thankful that the weather cooled off. Your farm looks heavenly.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos, Cecilia!
ReplyDeleteHi Cecilia,
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful photos!
It has been unusually warm here too...but a couple of days ago the cold moved in and I think snow is on our way for Wednesday...
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Hugs, Kimberley
Thank you, Kimberley! Snow! Now that would be a treat for us. :o) Enjoy it for me, ok?

Beautiful pictures and we finally got a little frost here too. Not enough to harm my fall garden but it finished off what was left of the spring plants because I was side track and forgot to cover. Hope you enjoy a nice Thanksgiving your place is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteCarole @ Garden Up Green
Thank you, Carole! It was pretty light but a frost none the less! Such a strange Fall with its warm weather. Glad your Fall garden survived. Happy Thanksgiving!
DeleteHi Cecilia,
ReplyDeleteWe have not had a visit from Mr. Jack Frost yet. Very chilly here now but no frost just yet. I want to wish you a wonderful week and Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy.
Kris
We got a frost too! It was very mild and all the plants are fine. In fact, I was looking out the window yesterday and couldn't believe it's the end of November. I do remember wearing shorts at Thanksgiving growing up though. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Cecilia ... we got that blast of cold air too. I slept in that morning and did not see the frost, but some outdoor shrubs I did not cover felt the freeze. So enjoyed your beautiful pictures. We will go to our daughter's ranch for Thanksgiving, so maybe I can find some Fall color.
ReplyDeleteWe too, have so much to be thankful for. Wishing you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Hugs,
Audrey
We haven't had frost yet but it is getting colder here finally. Enjoyed seeing your photos. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sharon! It was warm again today. Not supposed to cool down again until after Thanksgiving. A very happy Thanksgiving to you and yours as well!
DeleteBeautiful photos, Cecelia! Winter has finally arrived here, too...with snow and ice today. Hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteEven though it was 30 degrees here I saw no sign of frost. Perhaps you had more moisture in your area there. The pictures are lovely. What a wonderful place to take a walk! Blessings!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so lovely Cecilia!
ReplyDeleteI'll take first any day. We've got about a foot of snow!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
