Rope Wrapped Pumpkins

Today I'm sharing a super simple project - rope wrapped faux pumpkins!

I had a couple of faux pumpkins from last year I had painted silver with black accents. I really didn't like the way they looked so I decided to give them a makeover.

I started off with a package of 1/4" rope from Wal-Mart and hot glue and started wrapping the rope around the pumpkins. 'Round and 'round until they were fully covered, gluing as I went.

Then I added "ribs" - one pumpkin got rope "ribs" and the other one twine. Both had their stems repainted with a couple of shades of brown.

What do you think? This was a super easy project. Don't they look pretty with the Fall Garland?

Next week I'll share where they ended up and I hope share my table and chairs makeover so be sure and come back!
