Cozy Christmas Farmhouse at The B Farm

Hello my friends! Today I'm sharing The B Farm all cozied up for Christmas as part of the Cozy At Christmas Blog Tour. It's five days of Christmas goodness - I hope you will pop over and visit the other ladies. I'll share the links at the bottom of my post.

This year, I'm crazy about plaid! What? You too? To me, it just says "cozy" and "homey".

To begin, I dressed the table with red plaid placemats and red napkins from Audrey of Timeless Treasures. The plaid stockings are actually silverware holders my friend Susan gave me a couple of years ago. So cute!
The red pillows on the bench were wrapped with red and white plaid ribbon. They remind me of presents! The green plates with pinecone motif were a Good Will find many years ago.

Then in the kitchen window, I hung some crocheted lace also from Audrey. It's not plaid but it says farmhouse cozy to me!

Isn't it pretty?

The cute red and white checked apron (another wonderful item from Audrey) hangs on the door to the laundry room next to the coffee station.

Moving into the living room, I placed this plaid bucket from Target's Spot next to the fireplace where it holds my magazines.

I then replaced my white curtains with these red and green plaid ones. Oh my! I'm loving the rich color next to the white walls. I'm seriously considering finding some red buffalo print for after Christmas. I love how cozy red makes the room feel!

Lastly, I decided to decorate the master bedroom this year. I put up a small Christmas tree - red plaid ribbons tied on it with rustic ornaments looks very festive. It sits on my small red bench with a red blanket for a tree skirt.

I also bought new bedding from IKEA. I absolutely love the grey buffalo check with the red pillows and blanket. It looks so very cozy and inviting!

Oh how I love it! Even the lamps got dressed with red and black plaid ribbon.
So there you have it...my cozy Christmas farmhouse! I hope you enjoyed the tour. If you'd like to see more Cozy at Christmas spaces, please visit the blogs below.

  3. Cecilia, the red and black plaid is so perfect for the B Farmhouse! It does add a cozy, welcoming flair and even if it's 75 degrees outside here in Texas, we can pretend it's cold. :)

Wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas.

    1. Thanks, Kathleen! The lace looks fabulous plus it was a good repurpose for a piece to small to do much else with. I like that it doesn't block my view too. Your daughter has good taste, lol! I adore that duvet cover. It really finished my room decor!

  21. Everything looks just beautiful. I can feel your excitement. The lace curtain looks so pretty in your window. Looks like rows of snowflakes. So happy that you saw a use for that piece. The red place mats and napkins are just perfect for your table. So happy to have you and Cecilia (My Thrift Store Addiction) come over and help downsize my linens. I am looking for new bedding, not that I can use red or black and white, but will check out IKEA.
    Merry Christmas
