Mantel and Entry Table Decked Out for Christmas

Last week, I showed you the ornaments I made for the B Farm Christmas tree. This week, I'm showcasing the mantel and entry table. Let's start with the mantel:

I wanted to keep the color palette simple - red, green, and silver so I started with a red table runner I had, then added a pine garland. To those I added silver snowflakes, a silver deer, and a chippy, iron star. The urns got updated with seasonal greenery too.

Of course, I had to leave my "B" block.

The snowflakes came in a package of about 20 from Wal-Mart. Very glittery!

Then I decorated my entry table for the season. Again, silvers, green, and red with natural elements and I left the burlap runner.

Love this candle holder - kind of mercury glass looking. The red beads were a garage sale find several years ago. I have lots and lots of them!

The little wreath sits above the table. It got refreshed with red mini pinecones, silver branch picks, and a little silver bird.

My chalkboard plate with an updated saying for the holiday.

This little birdcage is actually a half cage that I picked up in the Autumn clearance. I pulled out the Fall foliage and replaced it with pinecones and pine greenery. It sits on top of my stack of old books.

I put this HO HO HO block candy cane in my bowl of pinecones. I also sprayed some of the cones with snow spray.

I found this rustic sampler at GW - paid only $1.99 for it. I love the saying. It reminds me of what's important this time of year.

I am almost finished with my decorating. I'm working on a couple of wreaths - both of which I picked up at GW for next to nothing! - and making them all pretty. I will be sharing them next week. I hope you'll come back and check them out.

May all your days be merry and bright,
Cecilia

    1. Oh thank you, Yvonne! I'm so glad you like it. The sign was easy to do and made good use of some old fence pickets I had laying around. :)

  9. It's always a relief after we are done decorating, isn't it? Then we can just enjoy the outcome. Love all the traditional colors. Last night, I was looking for my hubby. I thought he was in bed. I went to the living room to turn off everything so I can go to bed too, only to find him there, all alone and so quiet just enjoying the coziness of the Christmas decor....Christine

    1. Alycia, thanks for the visit! Glad you like it all. I found the candy cane in an antique store a couple of years ago. I was doing a tree with a Santa theme at the time and thought it would be perfect for it. I still love it!
